Looking forward

So I asked the college about taking the hairdressing course and it's going to cost over a grand to do it!ridiculous!so I'm thinking I should take the apprenticeship and work at the same time!it's a good career to go in to anyway, good money and I could start my own business up! So that's been taking a lot of my time up. Well that, job hunting and sorting out the car!
Thankfully the car has been done!I have my freedom back yay lol but what a mission.looking at it I don't know how I'd survive without my car. So here's hoping it doesn't mess up again!
The job hunt is still going on and I'm still waiting on the call from the shop. Shall be cracking on with it again tomorrow!
Anyway the darling Jake is back this eve so I am off for food and pampering!

Sad times! I dropped my phone earlier and smashed the top of the screen!absolutely devastated so now I am back to using my blackberry curve :/ ugh what a pile of poo!such a let down of a phone!so calling vodaphone tomorrow for a new mobile!this thing keeps crashing and the screen is naff too :/

On a brighter note I decided to crack on at looking at fashion schools etc and I've decided that I'm tempted to study hairdressing for a year or beauty therapy and then go to study a fashion related subject next year! Sounds like a good plan to me!
Started some dress design work so is a start towards a portfolio.

So the interview went amazingly well!I can't believe how great it was!I gave good answers,she seemed really impressed and there is the opportunity for a proper career :) it's a start anyway.foot in the door!if I can move up quickly I could be on the way to owning my own shop!hehe
Anyway I find out either this week or the week after next.so I'm feeling pretty hopeful!

Funny times

So went to the supermarket and the fella bought three bottles of wine for us both.the day is now complete!
Further news on the job,turns out it's commission based which is naff!not worth going to now :( ah well you win some,you lose some!
I'm going to enjoy a nice relaxing evening with wine,documentaries and a gorgeous man :) perfect!

YAY

Hurrah! Just as I settle down on the sofa with my hot chocolate I get a phone call about a job interview! Think I have done very well today!
Furthermore, I have finished all of my writing project so now all I need to do is print them and send them off. My day can't get much better I don't think! Oh well, apart from the fella coming home and cooking me dinner!

I'm feeling very lucky and blessed today. Apparently perseverance does pay off in the end. 3 days hard slogging of job hunting has paid off well. Atleast I hope so, have the clothes shop interview tomorrow and now this new one!

Job hunting pt2

Back again! Ah thank the Lord that is over for the day! My head feels as though it's about to burst! Applied for more jobs than humanly possible I think. Back on it tomorrow though.

Now off to do some sewing methinks or design work. Try and customise this stupid t-shirt that desperately needs doing! Started designing a line of dresses for formal occasions. So far got a lace number which is looking gorgeous just to add a little colour to it to get the full idea but other than that it's all good.

Think I'm going to have to take some serious research in to consideration for this writing project too. May have to scan the pages of Vogue, Elle and Bazaar to get a rough idea on how everything needs to be written.

I'm sure I will be back later with a possible photo of my creations(if all works out!)

Job hunting

Today is yet another day where I continue my search for a new job! Exhausting is the only way of putting it. Sitting here writing is atleast breaking up the day a little. Why is this so difficult? Aren't there like 500,000 jobs but like 5million people out of work? Something insane like that. Luckily, I already have a job but if I have to stay there much longer I may go nuts. There is no way someone can work there for a period of time, I have no idea how Dicky has done it. 25 years serving fuel! Nutter, I tell you.
So I've slogged through every website known to man and to no avail. Although, I do have an interview tomorrow for the clothes shop so I have my fingers crossed for that. It's only part time (4/8hours per week) but to be honest it's a step in the fashion door, which right now, I really want.

I'm trying to inspire myself with music so by having the meditation mix my fella made me I'm feeling more inclined to search but to be honest, right now, I just want to snuggle under the duvet enjoying Sex and the City and a hot chocolate. Ah perfection. Atleast then I may start to feel more creative and find it easier to finish this writing project I have. I've got to find a personal memory to write about, 800 words and then an opinion piece on a person, 500 words. I was thinking for that either Rita Hayworth or maybe even Gok Wan. It's for a fashion magazine so possible using an iconic person is ideal. Personal memory though? I though possibly changing the whole direction of it and going for something like the birth of my sister. Now that is something I will NEVER forget! At 5 years old, it was an experience let me tell you!

Ah well, onward with the job hunt I think. Updates as I go.
